Frequently Asked Questions

No, IVF is not always the first option. The priority is to correctly identify the cause of infertility. However, in cases such as azoospermia or completely blocked fallopian tubes on both sides, IVF may be the first treatment option.

The decision depends on factors like the woman's age, the man's sperm condition, and previous treatment history. IVF is chosen for couples who have no chance with surgical or medical treatments, or when simpler methods have not yielded results.

The procedure takes an average of 15-30 minutes, depending on the number of follicles in the ovaries. It is a painless procedure as it is performed under light anesthesia.

We do not recommend long-term bed rest after the transfer. It is generally sufficient to avoid heavy lifting and sudden movements for the first two days. You can return to normal daily activities.

Although there is no strict rule, an interval of 1-2 months is generally sufficient for a second attempt. There is no difference in treatment success between short and long intervals. The important factors are the couple's psychological and financial readiness.
